It would be so amazing to hybridize this with 3D CAD and computer meshmodeler like Blender 3D. If you had that and a large format printer, You could print section outlines, and use those to shape profiles. This would be SO FUN to PRESERVE coachbuilding and at the same time make the transition between design and buck much more flexible and creative.

Great 2-part video! As a follow up video, how about the rippled wheel discs like used on the Alfa Romeo 8C2900B coupe's (that attach over the wire wheels). There were some amazing "hub caps" in the 1930's and you go the general form -- but question is how to get all the "beads" (ripples) into it without it distorting like mad? [Just do for a 1934 Ford roadster you have in the shop.]

Amazing. Not only is he creating something beautiful, but he's also aerobically exercising his body. Just look at the shape he's in. Lazze don't need no health club - he's standing in one. Pay close attention to the repetitious motion of his body as he wheels that steel. It's like watching a beautiful dance. Thank you, Lazze, for giving us this one.

Informative video! I have been watching your videos at least since 2010. I would have bought one of your english wheels if they did not cost 3 grand which I could not justify as a hobbyist. God only knows what they cost now. My question: when you are adding shape to the exterior ring, are you also putting form into the piece by pulling down using the lower die as a fulcrum as you go around the circle? Thank you.

No I'm not pulling down, I follow the curve the best I can. in the beginning it's flat but after each turn I have more curve and I must follow the curve/shape that the panel has in the moment, hope that helps, ZZ
